JD Welding started its existence in year 1990 by providing welding repairs and services to the community. The business grew potentially and in year 1999, the owners  Jacques and Nathalie Duval, decided to incorporate its operations under the name JD Welding Inc. The main field of expertise is now the fabrication of aluminum and stainless steel products tailored to the needs of specific customers.

The material used in the fabrication of these products were purchased from outside suppliers who are selling at high prices due to the high delivery costs of smaller orders. The company has been paying these high prices for some time and has finally decided to cut these costs drastically by becoming a wholesale distributor of aluminum and stainless steel in the Ottawa-Carleton and Prescott-Russell areas since 2003. The new company became Acier Duval Steel which became a division of JD Welding Inc. His years of experience in the welding fields and his trade contacts are definitely an asset to the business.

In 2007 they decided to expend their market and move into a bigger location on Hwy 17 which is located between Montreal and Ottawa. In reason of this location the visibility and proximity provide easy access to their customers.
